LEMBAGA ZAKAT SELANGOR

Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS), a subsidiary company of Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS), in line with our expansion plans would like to invite Selangor born citizens or residents of this state of at least 5 years and above, to fill up the following post which is currently available at our head office in Shah Alam.
 
COMPANY SECRETARY
Selangor - Shah Alam
Responsibilities:
  • Provide secretarial and administration support to ensure smooth daily operations of the Secretarial Unit of Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS).
  • Attend meetings with the board of directors / trustees and its committees, as well as general management meetings.
  • Compile board and board committee papers, minutes, resolutions and statutory documents and ensure that the decisions of the Board of Directors are implemented accordingly.
  • Ensure completion/lodgement of statutory forms, declarations, returns, reports and the company’s compliance under the relevant laws/regulations.
  • Ensure best practice of corporate governance and compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Muslim
  • Candidates must possess ICSA qualifications, a licensed Company Secretary of MAICSA or its equivalent and professional qualifications with minimum 3 years relevant working experience.
  • Good knowledge of Company Laws and Corporate Secretarial procedures.
  • Possess the initiative and is detail oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to meet tight schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal, management and communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with all levels of employees, management team, Board Members and external parties.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality with high integrity, commitment and initiative.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
